During the month of February, stores turn up the pink! We think it could have something to do with a little something called Valentine’s Day…

Pink and black has definitely been a source of inspiration for us the past couple weeks. We think it is a color combo that can be incorporated into the decor, attire, and of course, invitations!

Monday Invitation Spotlight: Lovely Lime

The weather in Texas has been a little gray over the past week, and the weatherman told us this morning that things are not likely to change over the next few days. So it’s quite understandable why we would like to spotlight the bright and vivacious color lime today. It is sure to brighten up anyone’s day!

 

Lime looks beautiful when paired with red tones. The brightness of the color keeps the invitations from looking too much like the holidays.

 Lime is also a great way to make a darker color scheme pop! Against the black background above, the lime leaves stand out!

Invitation Spotlight: Ebony Filigree

We have been very busy around the office continuing to improve our new ColorPress Collection. We love the mix of modern designs and classic wedding motifs our customers find in the variety of designs. Today we are featuring a very chic invitation that incorporates an elegant filigree pattern with an artistic flair.

We are showing the invitation here in ebony and salmon, but it also comes in aquamarine, champagne, lavendar, and platinum. Monday Invitation Spotlight: Wisteria Geometric

As we announced on Friday, our ColorPress Collection has been added to our site. Today we will spotlight just one of these adorable invitations, but if you or someone you know is getting married, they are worth checking out.

Monday Invitation Spotlight: Mocha Leave Pocket

1st Class just introduced several new wedding invitations, and we are so excited to feature one of them today! When we first looked at the following invitation, we were blown away by the unique color combination and gorgeous design. The rich mocha leaves paired with the shimmer sky blue works perfectly for a summer or autumn wedding. The diverse colors blend well into multiple seasons.

This is a pocket invitation, so it securely holds all enclosure cards. We love the square shape because it allows your invitation to stand out among all the rest, but make sure you factor in additional postage costs when budgeting.

And now for the closeups:

This invitation is printed on pearl white shimmer paper, which adds just the right amount of shine and elegance to the invitation suite. You have the ability to customize exactly what you would like your invitation to say, but the fonts and colors cannot be changed on this specific invitation. Once you submit your order online, you will receive a proof in your email to approve. This ensures your invitation is printed exactly the way you would like. A proof is not required, but is recommended.

The reception card is the largest enclosure and is meant to be placed in the back of the pocket.

The response card is slightly smaller than the reception card to create a stacked effect within the pocket.

Once everything is assembled into the invitation pocket, you can close it up with a custom seal. This seal can also be used as the return address on the outer envelope.

And as we discussed on Thursday, it is always nice to keep a set of your Thank You cards on hand for those early gifts. Ordering your thank you cards with the invitation saves time and stress. It would be lovely to come from the honeymoon and already have your thank you notes there ready to be filled out.
